Actually, he is a little high maintenance. Plus, he lacks the hustle of some of the other guys like Chris Bettano. I mean really, he hasn’t tried to slide up the back of his teammate once this season!

Since I was asked about a few terms in the story, I figured I would try to translate the Eck-ese/DialEck. beef = women bogart = big game bridge = home run hair = really good fastball hammer = breaking pitch iron = money juice one up = hit a home run nasties = good breaking pitch oil = booze paint = well-located fastball on the corner salad = change ups; pitches with nothing on them take it to the bridge = to hit a home run
